Rates & Terms

Participants in the BioBusiness Accelerator’s incubation program are required to hold a lease for space at the Institute. These clients may qualify for a tiered rate structure that involves an initial discount, increasing to standard rates over the term of incubator residency - typically about three years.

Tenants of the Bioeconomy Institute and participants in the small-business incubation program will individually negotiate lease agreements with Michigan State University. Staff of the BioBusiness Accelerator will assist prospective clients in this process.

Lease rates are competitive with comparable facilities in the area and are partially dependent upon the particular characteristics of the space and special equipment that may be included. Lease terms are authorized by Michigan State University on a case-by-case basis.

Both laboratory and office space are currently available for lease, and various combinations can be configured appropriate to your needs.  For additional details, please Contact the BioBusiness Accelerator.

Note - Pilot plant facilities are available for use by tenants and outside parties through separate arrangement with the Institute. Staff at the Institute can assist in this process.
