As a member of the Lakeshore Advantage BioBusiness Accelerator program, you will be joining a team - a partnership of people with big ideas and a pledge to pursue them, and a network of expert resources dedicated to providing top quality, individualized programs of business start-up and development assistance. Working together in a world-class facility, with unique equipment and personnel resources to scale-up processes that will produce important biomass derived chemicals and materials, our goals include the success of our early-stage companies, economic growth for the Lakeshore region, and helping Michigan attain a strong position in the emerging bio-based global economy.

 

 

  • If you are a small, for-profit organization that seeks to start-up, or accelerate the growth of your bio-based company 
  • If you can benefit from occupying first-class laboratory and office space in an exceptional science facility located in one of the most desirable communities on Michigan’s West Coast
  • If you are developing bio-based products and need to engineer your chemical process to perform economically on a production scale, but can’t afford the equipment for this phase of the work
  • If you would like an opportunity to work with experts in many areas of science and technology, business and finance
